Can the “Legacy” of the Flash be preserved? Ralph realizes at the last moment that they can’t destroy Cicada’s dagger or they will release Eobard Thawne from his captivity. He even makes the heroic gesture of jumping in front of the mirror gun, taking the hit himself. While the team contemplates what to do while Ralph is unconscious, they realize that if they can cure young Grace, it will stop the maniacal future Grace and they won’t have to destroy it. Nora steps up and explains that she can connect to her again before it’s too late. And while she convinces Gracie to be a good girl, the dark matter in her head has other plans. They realize they must destroy the dagger. This, of course, has been Thawne’s plan all along. He does escape and the race to stop him has begun. Though, that is not the biggest problem. Now that they have destroyed the dagger and let Thawne free, the timeline has been changed, and it will have emotional, long lasting effects on everyone. Jay and Josh try to preserve each other’s legacy, but may end up canceling each other out on the season 5 finale of Scarlet Velocity: A Flash Podcast!
