Lian Yu means “Purgatory”. And that’s where Oliver and his team have appeared. Lyla explains that this is where they will need to construct the final piece needed before Crisis begins. Rene, Dinah, and Roy are on their way to deliver plutonium when their plane is shot down by a mysterious enemy. That enemy turns out to be the late Edward Fyers and his army that Oliver supposedly killed so many years ago when he was stuck on the island. The team rushes to save their fallen friends, but Roy is pinned and they have to make a desperate sacrifice to save his life. Oliver believes it is his responsibility to take down Fyers and that’s when he runs into another dead acquaintance, Yao Fe.
