Now that Kingpin has revealed to Maya that he is very much alive, he does what he does best; intimidate! He claims to Maya that all is forgiven and asks her to come back to New York with him. This turn of events causes her to have the most intense visions yet, which leads her straight to Chula. Despite her grandmother’s explanation of the intense feelings she was having when Maya’s mother died, Maya is upset that she chose herself over her granddaughter.
